First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tested a program called Go Sun Smart Georgia to see if it helps outdoor workers protect themselves from the sun. Over 300 workers from different worksites took part. Some worksites got the program right away, while others waited. The program included training and support for sun safety. Researchers compared sun protection habits between the two groups to see if the program made a difference.
