Expanded access
Not a trial. This treatment can be requested outside a study, case by case, for people who qualify.
Expanded access (paused)
Not a trial. The treatment can normally be requested outside a study, but is unavailable right now.
Expanded access (ended)
Not a trial. The treatment could once be requested outside a study, but no longer can.

Summary

This study investigates whether a single dose of a GnRH agonist (triptorelin) given alongside standard progesterone can improve pregnancy outcomes in women undergoing frozen embryo transfer cycles. The trial includes women aged 20-39 with good quality embryos and normal uterine lining. Researchers will compare clinical pregnancy rates, implantation rates, and live birth rates between those receiving the extra hormone dose and those receiving standard care.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
GnRH agonist (triptorelin)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a simple, single-dose addition to improve pregnancy rates in frozen embryo transfers.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase study with a moderate sample size, so results may not be conclusive or generalizable. Potential side effects of GnRH agonists include hot flashes and mood changes.
