New gel shows promise for healing stubborn bedsores

Summary
This study tests a new gel called GM-XANTHO for treating stage 2 or 3 pressure ulcers (bedsores) in adults, including those with diabetes. About 58 participants will receive either a low or high dose of the gel plus standard care, or a placebo plus standard care. The goal is to see if the gel helps the wound heal faster and safely.
