NCT ID NCT06249763
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at whether eating gluten-free for one week can reduce stomach symptoms and tiredness in people with ulcerative colitis. Fifteen adults with the condition ate a gluten-free diet plus special granola bars—first without gluten, then with high gluten. They reported their symptoms and gave blood, stool, and urine samples. The goal was to see if a gluten-free diet helps and to find clues about who benefits most.
