Summary
This study tested two methods to help people with rheumatoid arthritis stop taking steroids like prednisone. 102 adults with stable low disease activity or remission were followed for one year. The goal was to see which approach—slowly reducing the dose or switching to a different steroid—worked better for safely stopping steroid use.
