NCT ID NCT07537686
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a daily injection of teduglutide for 30 days can repair intestinal damage in undernourished women aged 18-35 with environmental enteric dysfunction (EED), a condition that causes poor nutrient absorption. Participants will receive nutritional support first, then undergo endoscopy and biopsies before and after treatment to measure gut healing. The goal is to see if this drug can improve gut health and guide future treatments.
