NCT ID NCT07495904
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding extra protein to your diet can protect your muscles while you lose weight with GLP-1 medications like Ozempic. About 130 adults with obesity (BMI over 30) will take the drug and either follow standard care or get protein-focused meal advice. The goal is to see if the protein group keeps more muscle mass after 3 to 6 months.
