Summary
This study looked at how GLP-1 agonist drugs (like liraglutide) affect fat buildup in the heart of people with type 2 diabetes. 42 adults over 50 with diabetes and at least one heart risk factor took part. The goal was to see if these drugs reduce heart fat, which may help protect the heart.
