First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a simple, low-cost method—wearing surgical gloves during chemotherapy—to prevent nerve damage in the hands caused by the drug paclitaxel. About 84 breast cancer patients will be randomly assigned to either standard care or glove compression. Researchers will track symptoms like numbness, tingling, and pain, and how these affect daily activities.
