Cancer center tests common pill for a deadly Cancer's side effect

Summary
This study is testing how well and safely the diabetes medication glipizide works to lower high blood sugar in people with pancreatic cancer. Researchers are enrolling about 29 participants with active pancreatic cancer and high blood sugar to measure their glucose levels before and after starting the drug. The goal is to see if this common, inexpensive pill can help manage this frequent and serious complication of the disease.
