First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a drug called Gleolan in 108 adults with meningioma (a type of brain tumor). The drug makes tumor cells glow under a special light during surgery, helping surgeons see and remove more of the tumor. The goal was to see if Gleolan could accurately identify tumor tissue that might otherwise be missed.
