New device aims to lower eye pressure in glaucoma patients during cataract surgery

Summary

This study tests a new surgical tool for people with open-angle glaucoma who are also having cataract surgery. The device is designed to improve fluid drainage in the eye and lower eye pressure. About 70 participants will be enrolled to see if the procedure is safe and effective at reducing the need for glaucoma medications.
