Summary
This study looks at whether a 12-week after-school sports program can help girls ages 8-10 in rural California become more physically active. About 30 girls will take part in the program, which introduces different sports and builds physical skills. Researchers will check if the program is easy to run and if it actually increases the girls' activity levels.
