Web tool aims to bridge genetic cancer risk info gap in families

NCT ID NCT05552664

Summary

This study tested a web-based program designed to help cancer patients communicate their inherited cancer risk information with their close relatives. The program provided education and support, and offered relatives access to low-cost genetic testing. Researchers wanted to see which features of the platform worked best to encourage family members to get tested and learn about their own cancer risk.
