First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests a gel made with copper and a small protein (GHK-Cu) to see if it can safely speed up healing of small, standard skin wounds in healthy adults. 60 participants will each get two small wounds on their arm, one treated with the copper gel and the other with a plain gel, and healing will be tracked for 3 weeks. The goal is to find a simple way to help wounds close faster.
