First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study tests whether a gel made with a copper-peptide complex (GHK-Cu) can safely help small skin wounds heal faster than a plain gel. Sixty healthy adults will each get two tiny wounds on their arm, one treated with the copper gel and one with a placebo. Researchers will track healing over three weeks to see if the copper gel makes a difference.
