New therapy helps concussion patients break free from fear of activity

Summary

This study tests a behavioral therapy called graded exposure therapy for people with concussion who avoid activities due to fear of worsening symptoms. The therapy helps them gradually and safely return to normal activities. Researchers will measure symptom changes in 220 adults aged 18-70 who had a concussion 1 to 24 months ago.
