First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tests a digital program called Get Back to help people increase their daily steps after surgery for lumbar spinal stenosis, a common cause of back and leg pain in older adults. The program includes personalized activity plans, techniques to manage fear of movement, and behavior change support. Researchers will compare it to standard rehab in 252 patients from four spine clinics, measuring steps per day and other outcomes.
