Gene test could personalize fungal infection treatment

Summary
This study tests whether using a person's genetic information to determine the dose of the antifungal drug voriconazole leads to better drug levels in the blood compared to standard dosing. About 104 children and adults with blood cancer and a fungal infection will take part. The goal is to make treatment more effective and reduce side effects.
