This study aimed to find genetic markers in blood and uterine tissue that could help identify women at risk for uterine atony, a condition where the uterus fails to contract after childbirth, leading to severe bleeding. Researchers analyzed samples from 21 women to compare those with and without the condition. The goal is to improve prediction and prevention of this dangerous complication.
