Summary

This study tested whether a short education program on genital and menstrual hygiene could improve hygiene habits and menstrual experiences for adolescent girls living in a container city after an earthquake. Sixty-eight girls aged 14-18 took part in two sessions over one week. Researchers measured changes in their hygiene behaviors and menstrual experiences right after the program and again three months later.
