First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study examines DNA from 162 breast cancer patients who received chemotherapy and either did or did not develop congestive heart failure. Researchers are searching for rare genetic changes that may increase the risk of heart damage from cancer treatment. The goal is to better understand why some patients develop heart problems, which could lead to safer treatments in the future.
