Summary
This study aims to find genetic factors that may increase the risk of gout, inflammation, and metabolic diseases like diabetes and obesity in people of Polynesian ancestry. Researchers will collect health data and blood samples from 2,750 adults in French Polynesia, including those with gout and the general population. The goal is to better understand why these conditions occur and how they are linked, which could lead to better prevention or treatment in the future.
