Scientists hunt for family clues to eye alignment problems
NCT ID NCT04770519
Summary
This study aims to understand the genetic causes of strabismus (misaligned eyes) and nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) by studying families where these conditions occur. Researchers will enroll families with multiple affected members to look for shared genetic patterns. The study involves genetic testing but does not provide treatment or direct medical benefit to participants.
