Scientists hunt family genes for clues to eye alignment problems

NCT ID NCT04770519

Summary

This study aims to understand the genetic causes of strabismus (misaligned eyes) and nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) by studying families where these conditions occur. Researchers will enroll families with multiple affected members to collect DNA samples. The goal is to identify specific genetic variants that may contribute to these eye movement disorders.
