Summary
This study aims to discover if interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome (IC/BPS) has genetic causes. Researchers are collecting DNA samples (blood or saliva) and medical information from 1000 people with IC/BPS and their family members across North America. The goal is to identify specific genes that might contribute to this painful bladder condition, which could lead to better future treatments.
