Can a genetic warning slash your cholesterol?

NCT ID NCT07087431

Summary

This study aims to find out if telling people their genetic risk score for coronary artery disease motivates them to improve their heart health. Researchers will enroll 500 adults aged 30-75 who are not on cholesterol medication. Half will get their genetic risk results right away, while the other half will wait a year, to see if the information leads to better cholesterol levels and healthier habits.
