NCT ID NCT07582601
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at 25,000 adult ICU patients in Sweden to find out which genes and molecules make some people more likely to get very sick from infections, sepsis, or organ failure. Participants give blood samples at the hospital and again a few months later. The goal is to build a national resource to help doctors understand and predict critical illness, and to prepare for future health emergencies.
