First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study investigates a genetic variant found in about 6% of people that may be linked to high blood pressure, especially in men. Researchers want to see if people with this variant have a treatable condition called primary aldosteronism, which can sometimes be cured with surgery. About 76 adults from a larger Swedish study will be invited to participate.
