NCT ID NCT00001532
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how genes play a role in lung diseases like cystic fibrosis, asthma, and pulmonary fibrosis. Researchers will study the genes of up to 3,500 people, including healthy volunteers and those with lung disease. The goal is to find genetic differences that may explain why some people get lung disease and others don't. A small optional part of the study will also compare standard CT scans with low-dose radiation CT scans.
