First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks back at the records of 1,000 surgery patients who were admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) in Villavicencio between 2022 and 2024. The goal is to find out which patient traits and medical factors are linked to death or longer stays in the ICU. No new treatments or drugs are given—researchers are simply gathering information to improve future care.
