Gene therapy combo shows promise for Drug-Resistant lung cancer

Summary
This study tests a new gene therapy (quaratusugene ozeplasmid) added to the standard drug osimertinib for people with advanced EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer that has stopped responding to osimertinib alone. About 158 adults with stage III or IV lung cancer will participate. The goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth better than current treatments.
