Summary
This study tested whether adding two special gels to a standard dental cleaning procedure works better for treating inflammation around dental implants. 92 adults with early-stage implant inflammation received either the standard cleaning alone or the cleaning plus the gel combination. Researchers measured signs of inflammation, like bleeding and plaque, over 6 months to see which approach worked better.
