New drug targets Hard-to-Treat cancers with PIK3CA mutation

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new oral drug, inavolisib, in people with advanced solid tumors or breast cancer that have a specific genetic change (PIK3CA mutation). The goal is to find safe doses and see how the drug works alone or combined with standard hormone therapies and targeted drugs. About 200 participants will receive different treatment combinations to manage their cancer.
