Summary
This study tests a new medication for a rare, inherited form of diabetes caused by a faulty glucokinase gene. About 44 adults with this condition will receive the drug or a placebo in two separate periods to see if it lowers blood sugar levels. The goal is to improve glucose control without requiring lifelong medication changes.
