Scientists track genetic time bomb in blood disorder patients

Summary

This study aims to understand why and when a rare genetic blood disorder gets worse. Researchers will follow 250 people who have a GATA2 gene mutation for up to 5 years, collecting blood and bone marrow samples taken during their regular doctor visits. The goal is to find early signs that predict if the condition will progress to more serious blood cancers.
