Summary
This study tested a new way to measure blood pressure in stomach veins of 25 people with liver cirrhosis and enlarged veins (varices). Doctors used an endoscope with ultrasound to see if this method could better predict bleeding risk than standard tests. The goal was to see if the new measurement is safe and works well.
