Stomach pacemaker tweak may offer pain relief for gastroparesis patients

Summary
This study looks at whether changing the settings on an already-implanted stomach pacemaker (Enterra™) can reduce chronic abdominal pain in people with gastroparesis. About 150 adults who have had the device for at least 8 weeks will be randomly assigned to one of three stimulation programs. Researchers will track pain levels, quality of life, and medication use over 8 weeks.
