First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two types of laryngeal masks (LarySeal Pro and Ambu AuraGain) used to help children breathe during anesthesia. The goal is to see which one causes less air to enter the stomach, a common side effect that can lead to complications. About 106 children aged 6-12 having short surgeries will be enrolled, and stomach air will be measured using ultrasound. The results will help doctors choose the safer device for pediatric anesthesia.
