Summary
This study compares two versions of gastric bypass surgery in severely obese people with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see which method leads to diabetes remission, meaning blood sugar stays normal without diabetes drugs. About 396 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgical techniques and followed for results.
