Summary
This study tested four different ways of preparing the carbon dioxide gas used during laparoscopic (keyhole) womb surgery. The goal was to see if warming, wetting, or adding numbing medicine to the gas could prevent the patient's body temperature from dropping and reduce pain after surgery. 248 women took part, and the researchers compared the effects of each gas type on temperature and pain levels.
