Summary

This study tests whether adding game-like features to a 12-week mindfulness program can help first-year nursing students reduce burnout, stress, and anxiety. Participants are randomly assigned to a gamified mindfulness group, a standard mindfulness group, or a minimal-treatment control group. The goal is to see if the gamified approach improves adherence and leads to better emotional well-being.

Active substance
Gamified blended mindfulness program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could offer a fun, engaging way for students to manage stress and prevent burnout without medication.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study in a specific group (nursing students), so results may not apply to others. The effect may be modest or not last long-term.
