Summary

This study tests whether combining motivational interviewing with digital game assignments can prevent pregnant women who quit smoking from relapsing after giving birth. Seventy-two women in their second trimester who stopped smoking early in pregnancy will receive either the special counseling plus games or standard prenatal advice. Researchers will check if they stay smoke-free three months after delivery.

What could go wrong

This is a small, early-stage trial with only 72 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The effect may be modest and not last long-term.
