This study tested Mightier, a video game that uses heart rate biofeedback to teach children aged 8-12 how to calm down when upset. 183 kids with emotional dysregulation were randomly assigned to play Mightier or receive usual care for 6 months. Researchers measured changes in aggressive behavior and how much families spent on behavioral healthcare.
