Summary
This study tests whether a drug called galantamine can improve blood vessel function and reduce harmful oxidative stress in African Americans, who face higher risks of heart disease. Researchers will measure changes in blood vessel flexibility and cellular markers of inflammation over 3 months. The study involves 160 participants aged 18-60 with a BMI over 28.
