First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at how people walk before and after surgery to repair a damaged piece of cartilage in the ankle. Sixty adults scheduled for arthroscopic microfracture with a biologic scaffold will have their walking patterns measured using a pressure-sensing platform. The goal is to understand how the surgery changes the way the foot hits the ground during walking.
