First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study compares simple wearable motion sensors (IMUs) against standard 3D camera systems for analyzing walking patterns in 40 adults with neurological conditions like stroke, MS, or spinal cord injury. The goal is to see if the cheaper, faster sensors can provide equally useful information for clinical gait analysis. Participants will walk while both systems measure their ankle, knee, and hip angles.
