NCT ID NCT03918681

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looked at whether teaching people recovering from ACL surgery to run with a forefoot strike and slightly faster steps reduces knee pain and improves function. Ten active-duty soldiers and cadets participated, but the study was stopped early. The goal was to compare this new running method with a standard return-to-run program.
