New gait training aims to help veterans walk better after amputation

This study tests two walking training programs to help veterans with leg amputation walk more evenly. It includes 54 veterans who have lost a leg below the knee due to diabetes or artery disease. The goal is to improve walking symmetry, reduce pain, and prevent long-term disability.
