First seen Mar 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study compares walking patterns between 50 people with gait disorders and 50 healthy volunteers using small body-worn sensors and muscle activity monitors. Participants wear sensors on their legs and trunk while walking 18 meters. The goal is to identify precise differences in joint movement and muscle activation, which may help improve rehabilitation approaches in the future.
